Ogden's art done in the early 20th century consists of sculptural forms he would extract the spirit out of by carving or piecing gnarly wood.
He was a young man when he fought in the Civil War and was captured and imprisoned in Andersonville Prison where many were tortured and perished in the South. He later became a wheelwright but probably never forgot hes dark days and nights.
