Willie Eaglin worked at a shoe shine in Miami Airport. Due to disease he lost his sight and his job. Living in a group home he began making rugs, mats and bags using strips of fabric and old clothes . His creations were shown and sold in the Miami area.
We worked from his tactile sense. Some of his works can be irregular and not flat. I have had wall brackets made for many to float out from the wall and have dimension. His work has been shown at the Outsider Art Fair.
