Wood Umbrella or Cane Stand

Unusual pieced wood umbrella and cane stand of undulating form. The wave shaped sides are made up of horizontal rounded strips of wood that extend from the round disc top and bottom. The opening of the stand is at the top with a red dyed circular for enclosing the square opening. The entire piece has a mellow nut colored varnish coating. There are additional red tinted highlights. Circa 1920-1930
