Snake Folk Sculpture

A most unusual snake wearing a hat. The undulating form is on flat on the back as if it was made to hang on a wall or post. The head is made separate from the body and has a metal tongue. The paint is a mystical blue-green color. It shows signs of outdoor weathering. Southern origin. Mounted on a base.
